We have had lots of fun this June from eating outside in the sun to sports day in the rain. We worked hard and enjoyed fun treats, our school tour and golden time. A lovely year had by all. We wish Senior Infants well as they move on to 1st class and we look forward to welcoming our new Junior Infants in September. Thank you to everyone who made this school year fun for all. Lots of fun in Junior & Senior Infants today celebrating sports day. The wet & windy conditions added to the fun!

We had an action packed week in Junior & Senior Infants. We took part in a Water Safety zoom on Monday with lots of other schools. Tuesday & Thursday involved buddy reading with 3rd & 4th class. On Wednesday we engaged with World Bee day and researched and discussed many interesting facts and shared these with our families. We had indoor PE with Pat on Thursday because of the heavy rain. We also counted lots of money and sorted new maths resources for June. A very busy week

We said a sad goodbye today to Ms. Henry. We got to do lots of fun learning with her the last 4 weeks. We wish her well for the future.

We spent a lovely morning working outside with Martina from Heritage in Schools making bracelets and badges using flowers from our school ground.

After 21 days we welcomed 2 baby chicks to our classroom this morning. We are hoping for one more before our holidays. Lots of fun and learning today in Junior and Senior Infants.

Happy St. Patrick's weekend from Junior & Senior Infants.

We had a busy morning making and doing in the Infant classroom working with clay, pipe cleaners and beads. Our end product will be revealed next weekend. Watch this space!!

A lovely morning in the Infant classroom sharing our favourite books and making book marks.

Great excitement in Junior & Senior Infants today. When we arrived to school there was an incubator in our classroom with 8 eggs inside. We can't wait to observe these eggs over the next 3 weeks. Hopefully we will have baby chicks for Easter. Thank you to Ms. Whitehead for trusting us with this very important work.

Today we got cosy in the Infant classroom and got lost in our story books. We really enjoyed Ireland Reads Day.

We had a lovely day in the Infant classroom learning all about St. Brigid, colouring in crosses and designing her cloak. We also sang a song to her!

A lovely few days in the Infant classroom with our Christmas show and finding gifts under our Christmas tree. Enjoy the well deserved break everyone and the final countdown to Santy.

We were delighted to welcome Santy to our classroom today. We sang songs for him and he gave us sweets and Christmas Annuals. We are looking forward to Santy visiting our homes soon. All he wants is a slice of apple tart & a carrot for Rudolph.

We received our pennant today for all of the wonderful farm safety work that our school has engaged with this term. We have received the first one for Animal Safety and Wellbeing from AgriKids. We hope to earn more pennants in the future towards eventually earning an overall Farm Safety Flag for our school. Well done to everyone for all of their dedication to farm safety in our school community! Keep up the great work! 👏 🐑 🐄

Today we enjoyed a fun PE lesson with our TY student Émer working on our ball skills. Lots of fun was had by all the Infants. Thank you Émer.

We had lots of fun today with Nathaniel from Sligo Sport & Recreation Partnership. We are already looking forward to next week.
