We have had lots of fun this June from eating outside in the sun to sports day in the rain. We worked hard and enjoyed fun treats, our school tour and golden time. A lovely year had by all. We wish Senior Infants well as they move on to 1st class and we look forward to welcoming our new Junior Infants in September. Thank you to everyone who made this school year fun for all. We had lots of fun together over the past few days in 5th and 6th Class. Some highlights were our school tour to Forest Park and our holiday budgeting projects. Zipit and Boda Borg were great fun on Friday!

6th Class enjoyed painting a mural together today to represent their time here in St. Michael’s N.S. They will graduate next week as the Class of 2026. Thank you to Claudette for kindly sharing her artistic skills with us today. We had a great time!

5th and 6th enjoyed the morning with card games from our shared maths area. We enjoyed playing “Make 25 with 5” and “Bonds Snap” to begin in groups. There was lots of active listening required. What a lovely start to our week.

This afternoon we played board games together. It was a change from yesterday's activity!

A quick reminder that the Re-return scheme continues within the school to raise money for the Parent's Association. So if you have any bottles or cans at home, please consider donating them to the school. The bin is located in the spare classroom.

We have finished our weeks of buddy reading with junior and senior infants. They read their book bag books to us. We showed them our novel. Ms. Toolan also organised a 'buddy chat' with our elbows touching.

5th and 6th are working hard this term with plenty of fun in between! We were so lucky to get out in the sun this week too! ☀️ 🍦

We created pictures of ice cream cone close ups. It was fun decorating them!

Well done to the children in 4th-6th Class who represented St. Michael’s N.S. very well today in the Semi Finals. Unfortunately it was not our day but we enjoyed the day out in the sun and the treats after 🍦 ☀️ ⚽️
