Michel is a lecturer in Galway.

There are three groups of venomous snakes.

Vipers have very long fangs that can move!

Elopids have shorter fangs that don't move but they are very sharp with very strong poison.

The colubrids have fangs farther back in their mouth so they have to chew their prey.

Luckily we don't have venomous snakes in Ireland! 🐍 🐍
